Senior Production Operative - Night Shift
Location: Ashford Site | Permanent Role
Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am
Salary: £15.16 per hour
Additional Overtime: 0.25hr O/T from 21:45 to 22:00 (Mon-Fri)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Leadership: Assist the Team Leader and Shift Manager in ensuring the smooth running of production lines.
- Supervisory Role: Oversee Production Operatives and agency staff, providing guidance and training where necessary.
- Health & Safety Champion: Uphold the highest standards of health and safety practices across the team.
- Operations & Efficiency: Operate SCADA systems, work on the print floor, and perform general porter duties on packing lines.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean Manufacturing techniques to drive process improvements and increase productivity.
What We're Looking For:
- Team Leadership: Lead by example with a "can-do" attitude, ensuring team collaboration and efficiency.
- Technical Expertise: Good working knowledge of machine operations and experience working with production line equipment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and implement creative solutions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain attention to safe working practices, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and hygiene standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience operating electric counterbalance forklift trucks within a factory setting (valid forklift licence required).
- Previous experience leading a small team, with strong coaching and monitoring abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically fit, as this role includes hands-on, physically demanding tasks.
- Computer literate with a focus on data analysis and documentation.
