Robert Walters have been exclusively engaged to support our client in seeking a remote based Interim Finance Director on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

This role will join their SLT during a critical period of transformation & offer the opportunity to oversee the financial health of a dynamic organisation. You will be instrumental in supporting data-driven decisions that align with long-term objectives.

As the Interim Finance Director, you will be a crucial part of the senior leadership team. Your role will involve supporting the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's growth and transformation objectives. You will lead the financial aspects of M&A activities, partnerships, and investment opportunities. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your leadership skills will be put to use as you provide direction to the finance team while playing a pivotal role in the ongoing transformation program.

  • Support CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies
  • Advise on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
  • Lead financial aspects of M&A activities, partnerships, and investment opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and statutory reporting
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financing arrangements
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team
  • Play a pivotal role in the ongoing transformation program

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Interim Finance Director role brings a wealth of experience in finance leadership roles. With at least 10 years under your belt, you have honed your strategic thinking and analytical skills to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. Your exceptional communication skills allow you to influence stakeholders at all levels effectively. Experience in online/digital sector or real estate industry undergoing transformation would be highly beneficial for this role.

  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles
  • Experience in online/digital sector or real estate industry undergoing transformation is highly desirable
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
