Year 6 Class Teacher - Gorton
Educate GM is seeking a passionate and skilled Year 6 Teacher to join our partner school in Manchester. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in an upper Key Stage 2 environment, brings enthusiasm for teaching in a diverse, inner-city school, and is committed to fostering accelerated academic progress and personal growth in students. The role is full -time, will commence January 2025 and will continue to the end of the academic year.
Salary: M6 to UP3 PayScale depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, challenging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Year 6 students.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for teaching upper Key Stage 2, especially in inner-city schools.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment through excellent communication, people skills, and effective behaviour management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement impactful teaching strategies.
- Participate actively in extracurricular activities and school events, contributing to the broader school community.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working within KS2
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Professional Teaching Qualification (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
- Teaching experience in the United Kingdom
