Hays Education Liverpool works closely with Secondary Schools across the Wirral who are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to join their team. We have both temporary and permanent roles available at a range of Wirral Schools.
Your new role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in positions starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. Hays Education is looking for Teaching Assistants who will provide some one-to-one support for pupils who have SEN needs and also support group activities and assist the teaching within the classroom. Your role will be to enhance and enrich the learning of the pupils in your care.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, e.g. football coach.
Confidence in supporting students with Mathematics and English amongst other subjects.
Empathy and understanding towards young people in need of additional care.
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
Behaviour management skills
