Overview:
We are looking for an Oracle Software License and Asset Manager to deliver a strategic piece of work on a greenfield programme. The role focuses on mapping out Oracle licenses for the upgrade from Oracle 11g on-premises to Oracle cloud.
You will be working closely with the Managed Service Provider, the client, and Oracle to negotiate and deliver the licensing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the licensing strategy for the Oracle upgrade.
- Map out Oracle licenses for the transition to Oracle Cloud.
- Negotiate commercial terms and optimize the licensing model.
- Work with MSP, the client, and Oracle stakeholders to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in Oracle commercial licensing and licensing models.
- Experience with large-scale Oracle upgrades and cloud transitions.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
