Sales & Marketing Manager

A regional house builder have a requirement for a Sales & Marketing Manager to take the lead across their developments in the Yorkshire region.

Sales & Marketing Manager role

Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for multiple developments throughout Yorkshire. You will be responsible for leading, managing and motivating a team of Sales Advisors to achieve departmental objectives while maximising profitability and growth plans of the organisation. You will be influential in growing a fast-moving business assisting in the development of procedures and strategies that will facilitate the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales department.

Sales & Marketing Manager duties and responsibilities:

  • Building a strong team of Sales Advisors; coaching and mentoring all Sales staff ensuring full potential is achieved.
  • Oversee all matters relating to home sale transactions including liaisons with advisors, agents, solicitors, and customers. Using knowledge and experience to problem solve in any matters arising throughout the transaction process.
  • Ensure the department adheres to the New Homes Code and other mandatory/non mandatory procedures and protocols.
  • Be a key interface between site personnel and office.
  • Regular team meetings where you will motivate and share ideas and strategies to achieve business success.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships through effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of sales areas including fit out of show homes.
  • Analysis and reporting of local demographics, market pricing and general sales outlook to facilitate the land purchase process.
  • Help devise marketing strategies required throughout the life cycle of each development.
  • Provide knowledge and guidance through experience to counteract ever-changing market conditions.
  • Regular site visits to give support to the site teams while also conducting full site audits to maximise our presence.

Skills required for the Sales & Marketing Manager role:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Sales Manager role with the ambition to lead and grow the sales team
  • Previous marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation
  • Fully conversant in all Microsoft software application
  • Strong personable skills, building robust working relationships whilst providing excellent mentoring and guidance to site teams.
