JRS are delighted to be partnering with their client in Basingstoke who are seeking a Warehouse Operative to come and join their late shift on a permanent basis. This role will be working Monday - Friday 13:00 - 22:00.
This role is a temporary to permanent, full time position working for a busy distribution centre offering vital support to ensure the smooth running of day to day operations.

Duties to include (but not limited to):
- Receiving of goods and accurately checking for any short falls, reporting to the Stock Controller
- Picking of orders via pick ticket & palletisation of orders ready for delivery
- Replenish stock when directed from management
- Ensuring the stock is located correctly when restocking the warehouse
- Ensure the stock records and paperwork are kept up to date
- Loading of vehicles ready for delivery, ensuring goods are loaded safely
- Maintain high levels of health and safety standards
- Achieve targets set out by Team Leaders/Supervisors
- Ensure the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy
Required Skills
- Driving licence preferable
- Numerate and literate with the ability to follow written detailed instructions
- Experience of using a pallet truck, Reach/Counterbalance forklift licence or T20 a distinct advantage
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of working on computer with MS Office knowledge
