Job Title: Workshop Engineer - Electrical
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday, private healthcare, 5% pension, 10% company bonus
Duration: Permanent
Location: Luton
Hours: Mon-Fri - 9.00am - 5.00pm - office based
MUST HAVE: as a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electronics or electrical engineering disciplines

Purpose of role
Providing quality technical support to customers- Maintenance, calibration and repair
Responsibilities:
- Completing preventative maintenance, calibration and /or repair on a wide range of instruments sent to the workshop
- Ensuring accurate cost estimates are sent and purchase orders received
- Completing all service records and provide correct documentation for all work to the customers
- Managing In-House support tickets to meet service KPIs
- Performing maintenance, functional checks and repairs on demonstration and loan instruments
- Accurately controlling spare parts inventory
- Maintaining the workshop to ensure compliance with H&S requirements and a clean working environment
Attributes:
- · NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electronics or electrical engineering disciplines
- Experience of maintaining complex and sensitive equipment is preferred
- Experience in customer service.
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
