Building Surveyor - Residential Block Management - £65,000pa - Bromley
Nexus Recruitment are exclusively working with a medium sized Property Management company with offices in Bromley and Southend, Essex. Our client is looking for a chartered surveyor to become the first in house surveyor for the business, looking after the major works and surveying for their portfolio of residential Blocks. Core responsibilities (and more):
- Ensuring safety & Compliance for the portfolio
- Regularly out and about, inspecting properties and laising with contractors
- Generating schedules and budgets
- Helping clients to initiate construction projects
- Preparing insurance assessments
This role will suit an experienced Building Surveyor either in Residential or the Public Housing sector. This role requires experience with Section 20 major works which is essential! The following skillset/qualifications are preferred:
- RICS qualified (Associate minimum is essential)
- Previous experience working within the Residential Property sector
- 4 years + of Building Surveying experience
- Flexibility to travel wherever, whenever
