Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support.
- Prepare and implement practical experiments and demonstrations.
- Manage classroom resources and laboratory equipment.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met during practical sessions.
- Support and guide pupil's in exam preparation and coursework.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.

- Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
- Strong classroom management
- Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
- Be an inspiring and engaging communicator

Personal attributes:
- You will have a genuine passion for teaching
- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
