Accounts Clerk is required to join a Accounting & Finance team for an organisation based on the Wirral. The role involves processing payments, carrying out financial reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.

Description

  • Manage gift aid procedures across the charity
  • Manage donations of fund in accordance with HMRC guidelines
  • Distribute funding donations across services within the charity
  • Assisting with financial audits
  • Monitor company spends inline with funds received
  • Monitor banking transactions
  • Month end control and review preparation
  • Managing any debtors and overdue payments
  • Purchase ledger processing and allocation of costs

Profile

A successful Accounts Clerk should have:

  • Experience in a similar accounting role
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
