About the role
We are working with the school to recruit a permanent Science Teacher teaching both KS3 and KS4 Science with the possibility of teaching your chosen specialism to KS5.
The school is focused on providing the highest quality of education for a cohort of East London children, many of whom are from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school has a real focus on work life balance by ensuring emails are switched off on evenings and weekends as well as the school being closed by 5pm each day to ensure staff are not staying behind working late into the evening. The school looks for Teachers who have a genuine passion for teaching disadvantaged children within a mainstream setting.
About you
- QTS with a Science specialism
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school
- Proven background of high pupil progress
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
