A prestigious global luxury retail brand is currently seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their team. This role is perfect for a professional with proven management accounts experience (ideally with a global company) who is ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding position in a fast-paced environment.
Day to Day of the role:
- Prepare month-end journals for key areas of the business.
- Conduct and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, focusing on wholesale customer balances and stock returns.
- Review selected monthly head office cost centre reports, identifying and explaining key variances.
- Provide line management to a finance assistant.
- Compile weekly and monthly wholesale information for the treasury team.
- Support the year-end statutory audit process.
- Assist with treasury audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in management accounts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
