A nationwide association is looking for an experienced Health and Safety manager to join their team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will be based in their office in the North of the country.
Responsibilties include:
- Operational day to day running of their team
- Converting the service from reactive repsonse to proactive
- Advise, develop and deliver health and safety training as required
- Provide competent advice on current legislation, policy and procedures to key stakeholders within the business
- Review and update health and safety policies regularly in line with business standards
- Carry out site safety inspections and audits
The ideal candidate would be from a social housing/local authority/construction background.
The role is offering a hybrid work model, 1/2 days per week in the office and site visits.
The role is offering a minimum of 6 months, however there is scope to go longer and to become a permanent position.
Rates are negotiable, starting at £450 per day (Inside IR35)
The organisation would ideally get someone in ASAP but can wait for the right candidate.
