We're seeking a skilled Financial Accountant ready to roll up their sleeves, for a varied role in a bustling retail environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with working alongside a well established finance team, on all day to day activities.

Description
- General ledger & Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting through month end, Preparation and posting of month-end journals
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Preparing monthly financial reports for submission to Group Finance
- Support the Finance Manager with Statutory accounts reporting
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Production of weekly cash flow forecasting
- Working alongside the finance manager, and financial controller on ad-hoc project related tasks
Profile
A successful candidate should:
- Have a full Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Proven experience working as a Financial Accountant/Management Accountant
- High numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication, and a good team player
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Be available to start with no longer than one weeks notice
Job Offer
- Inside Ir35 rate between £360-£375 per day dependent upon experience level
- 3-6 month contract
- Hybrid working from a Basingstoke office
