I am working with a Global brand who are looking for a vibrant Marketing Assistant with a passion for creative marketing who is happy to get stuck in and can work with their Group Marketing team. The company are happy to train you up for this role and invest time in you so that you can find which area within Marketing you really enjoy and eventually perhaps want to specialise in, making this a unique opportunity for the right candidate. The role of Marketing Assistant will include all aspects in Marketing from helping with events, content writing, digital content and may even involve some travel abroad to their other offices and trade shows....no day will ever feel the same! I am looking for someone who is pro active and is wanting to really get involved in either their first steps in Marketing or has 1-2 years of experience.
A bit about the role:
- * Help develop and market the brand across various B2B and B2C channels.
- * Assist in the design and print process of adverts, brochures, leaflets and other marketing materials.
- * Support with packing, setup and stand designs for all UK trade shows/exhibitions
- * Update website product pages, manage downloads, and create promotional banners.
- * Draft social media posts, brainstorm future content ideas, and provide general support
- * Lead the process for welcome packs and create personalised certificates for new clients.
- * Contribute to monthly reports, including ads and social media sections.
What we need from you:
- * A degree in Marketing/Journalism or similar
- * An understanding of Wordpress
- * Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite ( Photoshop or Indesign is a big plus)
- * Experience with Canva.
- * Strong copywriting skills.
- * Excellent written and verbal English
- * Familiarity with Social media platforms: Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok.
- * Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- * Proficient with Microsoft office
- * Paid social media knowledge would be a big plus
- * Knowledge of Google Analytics ( Highly desirable but not essential)
- * Full/clean driving licence Benefits:
This is a hybrid position with 3 days office based and due to the location of the offices you will need a full clean drivers license. The role included 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), Pension scheme, Healthcare, team lunches and the potential to travel for the role... along with oodles of room for progression!!
