What you'll do:

As a Category Manager for Property, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives within the Commercial & Business Development Function. Your expertise will help optimize supply chains through market analysis and bid evaluation. You will lead procurement activities within Property, guide the business on correct routes to market, and support the development of category strategies. Your insights will contribute to industry best practices and continuous improvement. Building strong stakeholder relationships will be key to fostering cross-group collaboration.

  • Lead and assure procurement activities within Property, including design, analysis & evaluation of tenders.
  • Provide guidance to the business on correct routes to market.
  • Support the development of Property, Facilities Management and Utilities category strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing category knowledge and insight to support industry best-practice and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to aid cross-group collaboration.
  • Lead on contract management activity, managing contract variations, KPIs and strategic relationships.

What you bring:

As a Category Manager for Property, you bring a wealth of skills and qualifications to the table. You have an MCIPS, expert membership of IACCM, MRICS or equivalent professional qualification. Your experience in managing OJEU procurement activity or procurement activity in a similarly regulated environment sets you apart. You have a proven track record of conducting procurement activity and developing/delivering category strategies. Your analytical mindset coupled with your strong commercial acumen makes you an asset. You understand the importance of building cooperation and communication between teams/functions and recognize the business value of diversity.

  • Experience of managing OJEU procurement activity or procurement activity in a similarly regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of conducting procurement activity.
