Finance Business Partner - FMCG
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £60,000 - £66,000 + Fantastic Bonus & Benefits - Flex Working
Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on behalf of an Innovative fast paced FMCG business in Wakefield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of deciding the company's direction by providing key commercial and decision support to the business and offers regular opportunities for board-level presentation and communication with the Executive Directors and senior management team.
This will be a varied and fast-paced job role that will require you to manage a busy workload and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met.
Job Highlights: -
- Business partners the buying team and Logistics Senior Management Team
- Leading the planning and forecasting processes for the team, ensuring reliability and accuracy of the plans and forecasts delivered to business deadlines
- Attend and lead regular performance reviews with senior stakeholders to review cost performance vs plan, strategic initiative delivery and overall P&L performance
- P&L ownership for end-to-end performance of the commercial team
- Drive consistent and clear reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to show true underlying performance vs plan and forecast (including currency impact, volume changes, cost inflation, claims, waste)
- Develop a deep understanding of the key accounting systems – Prophet, Dynamics and Anaplan – and project manage any system developments specific to the Business Unit
- Leadership and development of 1 member of the team, ensuring strong business partnering is being delivered
- Providing support to the Head of Procurement Finance on projects, group reporting/forecasting, and performance management
Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
- CIMA, ACCA OR ACA Qualified
- Recent relevant experience ideally in Logistics, FMCG or Retail
- Stakeholder management and influencing
- Commercial and operational decision support
- Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel
