JOB – Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION – Suffolk
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
A UK based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Design Engineer
will ideally have the following attributes:
- HND/HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical system design.
- Good understanding of servos & other motor drives.
- Proficient with electrical design packages such as AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
- Electrical design of safety systems & electrical equipment.
- Producing electrical schematics, drawing & BoMs.
- Playing a key role as the principal level engineer for electrical design on projects.
- Supporting other teams with testing & commissioning when required.
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
