We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our centralised Fleet and Commercial Finance team. This key position provides financial advice and analytical decision support, building strong relationships to act as a trusted adviser. With the confidence to challenge the status quo, the Senior Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role in improving decision-making and developing innovative solutions to ensure our business's sustainable success.
In this role, you will lead the Fleet Finance Business Partner Teams, driving improvements in business performance through analytical, commercial, and communication skills. You'll work closely with colleagues to identify opportunities and risks, ensuring that financial and KPI reporting frameworks are continuously improved. Leading a professional team of two, you will ensure their ongoing skill development and performance enhancement, transforming data into valuable insights with relevant commentaries.
As the Senior Finance Business Partner for our Fleet Team, you will guide the Fleet Director and their senior team on maximizing revenue and controlling costs. You'll support fleet purchasing, owning fleet holding cost models, and providing decision-making support for procurement and depreciation rates. Collaborating with Fleet Optimisation, you'll align fleet plans with customer demand and offer analytical support to the Van Monster team (part of ZIGUP group).

Salary – £50,000 to £55,000 based on experience, enhanced by a generous car allowance (or company car option) and bonus.

About You
- First and foremost you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with solid business partnering experience and the ability to offer value adding insight
- You'll have a commercial awareness, and understand the key drivers of our business and how they interact
- You'll have experience of establishing professional and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders of varying seniority, with an ability to influence stakeholders towards positive outcomes
- Any knowledge of vehicle rental and fleet is advantageous, but certainly not essential and you may have experience in a variety of sectors with transferable skills
- Ideally you'll have some experience in budgeting, forecasting and people management
