Job Role: Commercial Manager/ Senior Quantity Surveyor
Area: Dartford
Salary: £60K - £70K + Package
PW Construction Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Manager/ Senior Quantity Surveyor for our client based in Dartford.
As a Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing commercial aspects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining project budgets. Additionally, you'll supervise junior members of the commercial team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial aspects of projects for both internal and external clients.
- Compile program-based cost-to-complete and project budgets.
- Prepare subcontract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Review contract conditions, negotiate amendments with sub-contractors and clients.
- Manage costs across a variety of projects and perform cost value analysis and reporting.
- Complete payment applications for projects on the construction manager (CM) system.
- Price up project variations, obtain agreement with clients and upload to Construction Manager
The ideal candidate will be:
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveyor role, specialising in Mechanical projects.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
