R13 are pleased to be supporting an award-winning Norwich-based business in their search for a Project Manager. Integral in the growth and success of the company, the focus of this role will be enhancing the efficiency of business operations and delivery of projects.

*Please note you must be able to commute to the Norwich office, as this is a fully office-based position.*

This is a full time, permanent position based in Norwich, working 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. This opportunity offers a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

System development contribution:

  • Contributing to the set up of a brand new project planning system using bespoke software
  • Creating designated "job cards" for each step of the project process onto the software

Project coordination:

  • Set up of new jobs onto the system
  • Allocation of relevant resources to each job
  • Tracking each job card for completion / timings
  • Liaising with external parties to schedule any required licenses etc
  • Reporting back on any delays - coordinate reallocation of resources if required
  • Ongoing client and internal liaison to assure all parties are updated
  • Analysing project success and looking to consistently improve project performance.
  • Occasionally visiting sites.

You will have/be

  • Previous experience in works-based project planning and coordination, with good working knowledge of related project software. Good general IT skills
  • Previous construction industry experience.
  • Proactive and adaptable nature, with the ability to problem solve and improve processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, and ability to manage multiple projects.
