We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) with a specialisation in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Autism. This role has become available due to our continuous commitment to expanding our support team to cater to the growing needs of our students.

Application Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of strategies and interventions for supporting children with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting in the delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback.
