Are you a Projoct, Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls Engineer looking for a role within a globally recognised industry giant where you will be implementing SIL 4 redundant systems for the UK's critical infrastructure?

In this role you will be responsible for modifying designs, commissioning and project engineering for SIL 4 hardwired safety systems intrinsic in the automation of industrial processes throughout the manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy and oil & gas industries. Occasionally, perhaps once a month, you will go on-site to assist in the commissioning of the control systems. This could be on off-shore Rigs or throughout the UK.

This role would suit a Project, Instrumentation, Electrical or Controls Engineer who has functional safety / IEC 61508 experience looking for a hybrid role offering autonomy, a great sense of achievement and career development opportunities.
The Role:
- Working on Hardwired Safety shutdown systems
- Project Engineering, adapting designs, maintenance and servicing
- Flexible hybrid working with up to 3 days at home per week
- Travelling nationally and off-shore to assist with the commissioning of new systems, up to 2 weeks at a time
The Person:
- Project Eningeer, Controls Engineer, Instrument Engineer or similar
- Understanding of Functional Safety or IEC61508/61511 certifications
- Understanding of 17th/18th Edition wiring regulation
