Working Hours:

  • 36.5 hours Monday - Friday

Alternatively

  • 36.5 hours Friday night shift - Sunday night shift

Shifts:

  • Days: Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00. Friday, 08:00 - 12:30
  • Back shift: Monday - Thursday, 16:00 - 00:00. Friday, 12:30 - 17:00
  • Night shift: Monday - Thursday, 00:00 - 08:00. Friday, 17:00 - 21:30

Alternatively

  • Night shift: Friday - Sunday, 18:00 - 06:00

Pay Rates:

Start rate is dependant on experience and qualifications. Opportunities to move through pay grade system which is reviewed every 6 months.

Salary: £34,313.28 - £36,886.78 initial starting salary plus up to 35% shift allowance (potential earnings of up to £49,797, plus paid overtime where required)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining equipment and reporting on a computerised maintenance management system (Agility)
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs to equipment
  • Troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions on industrial/paint plant equipment, Automated production lines, robots, lasers, hydraulic presses, DC tooling, AGV's and much more (Ideally, this would include experience with PLC controllers, HMI equipment machinery and building as required)
  • Performing preventative maintenance as per schedules
  • Ordering replacement parts and stocks
  • Adhering to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices
  • Adhering to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, and Teamwork
  • Undertaking training/further learning as required

Requirements:

  • Experience relevant to an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Completed an accredited apprenticeship and be multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical functions (electrical preferred)
