Mitchell Adam have the pleasure of recruiting for our retail giant based just outside of Birmingham. Our client is on the market for two analytically driven Finance Analysts to join various departments across the finance function following successfully hitting growth targets.
The successful candidates will be hitting the ground running in a fast paced, multi-faceted function, surrounded by like-minded studiers. Reporting into a qualified business partner for your exposure, how will be assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts pack, and conducting a granular level of analysis on various large datasets in order to determine financial performance across departments. To do so you will be conducting high level variance analysis and delivering commentary for non-financial stakeholders.
Skills Needed
- Be a studying Accountant, actively sitting exams with a view to be qualified in the next few years.
- 'Excel' in your use of spreadsheets, be comfortable manipulating data using pivot tables and sum if statements. Bonus if you can create a macro.
- You must be a confident communicator, with the ability to speak to a variety of non-financial stakeholders.
- Have prior experience in preparing the month end pack, from accruals and prepayments through assisting in quarterly budgets and forecasts.
