Academics are recruiting for a Teacher of Maths on behalf of a dynamic and rapidly expanding multi-academy trust, which prides itself on excellence in education and training and a supportive community for both students and staff. The school is conveniently located in Doncaster with excellent transport links via the A1 and M18 motorway. It offers a vibrant learning environment where professional growth is a priority.

The Role

We are seeking a committed and passionate Teacher of Maths to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This role is perfect for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced teachers looking to balance professional commitments with personal time.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a full teaching timetable with engaging and innovative maths lessons.
  • Planning and preparing lessons in line with the national curriculum expectations.
  • Marking and assessing student work, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Contributing to the development of the maths department, wider school community and sharing best practices.

Teacher of Maths Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) however FE trained teachers with QTLS are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexible, reliable and able to commute to Doncaster.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development as well as the education and training of young people.
