An exciting Part-Time Finance Assistant opportunity has arisen with a cutting-edge online Fashion Retail organisation located in Wimbledon, South West London.
A Fashion brand with a strong purpose at its core that operates as a social enterprise business and has undergone a recent period of growth and transition. It is now looking for a committed, commercial-minded, individual to take the brand forward in this exciting growth phase of the business.
This is a part-time 3 days a week position.
Key Responsibilities - Finance Assistant
- Bank account reconciliations (GBP, USD, EUR, Paypal, Amex, Soldo)
- Income reconciliations - GlobalE, Shopify, Klarna, Paypal, Marketplaces
- Post sales and purchase invoices
- Staff Expenses
- Reconcile stock payments and deliveries into 3PL
- Manage VAT return and import VAT reconciliation
- Monthly Payroll admin
- Year-end balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, stock, VAT etc
- Assist with fixed Assets and depreciation
- Keep Bright HR up to date - new starters and leavers, staff holidays/sick days.
- Order office supplies - Amazon, stationery, samples
- Approve supplier invoices / packing lists — match to Buy sheet and payment plan.
- Calculate actualised cost price by line once freight and duty is paid.
- Update true cost prices in Shopify / reports for new lines.
Skills & Qualifications - Finance Assistant
- Experienced bookkeeper
- Excel skills
- Any experience in Xero and Shopify is desirable but not essential
- Confident communicator
- A proactive and positive approach
