Our client is a leading property finance company for SMEs, dedicated to providing innovative funding solutions to property investors and developers alike.

Their mission is to provide the funding their clients need, either directly or via their chosen intermediary, to grow their businesses and achieve their goals. They are seeking a skilled and experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team and drive their marketing efforts in delivering this aim.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement within the property finance industry.

This role requires a good understanding of B2B marketing principles, a strategic mindset, and a passion for property finance.

The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging various marketing channels to reach target audiences, enhance our brand presence, and support the sales team in achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

  • People. Provide line management, coaching and direction to the Marketing Assistant. Guide their training and development.
  • Strategic Marketing Planning: Work alongside the Marketing Director to develop and implement a B2B marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals, focusing on lead generation, brand positioning, and market penetration within the property finance sector.
  • Lead Generation: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to generate high-quality leads, nurture prospects, and drive conversions. Utilise digital marketing, content marketing, email campaigns, events, and other channels to reach and engage target audiences.
  • Content Development: Create compelling content that resonates with our target audience, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and thought leadership articles. Liaise with our PR agency to maximise placement.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the Origination Team to develop and refine sales collateral, presentations, and other tools that support the sales process as required. Ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales goals.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and consistency of the brand's messaging, ensuring that all marketing materials and communications reflect the company's values and positioning within the market.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage the company's digital presence, including website management, SEO and social media. Optimize digital channels to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute our presence at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and other networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize strategies and achieve ROI. Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing KPIs and outcomes.
  • Budget. Manage the Marketing budget, providing quarterly reconciliation for the Marketing Director.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience of the Marketing Manager

  • Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field. If you've taken the apprenticeship route, that is also fine.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within financial services and ideally a property finance lender.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies that drive lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media.
  • Ideally good working knowledge of Wordpress, Google suite (e.g. GA4 and Search Console), SEO tools (such as seranking) and emarketing/CRMs such as Hubspot.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content, presentations etc.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
