Asbestos Surveyor - West of Essex, London
£27,000 - £38,700 including a hybrid company car, expenses, and additional training
A new opportunity has arisen within a market leading Environmental Testing Laboratory, who are UKAS accredited and deliver high quality and efficient asbestos and environmental testing services to clients in both the public and private sectors.
Ideally my client is looking for an asbestos surveyor with 2 years of experience but only 12 months is required. At the company there is currently 8 asbestos surveyors who work predominantly on social housing throughout the London boroughs with a very minimal commercial side of operations.
Essential requirements:
- BOHS P402 certification with a minimum of 12 months field experience
- Experience of working on projects in the domestic sectors
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to commute and complete out of hours/weekend work
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
As an asbestos surveyor you will be involved in:
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of properties in the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Compiling comprehensive reports to be sent to clients
- Ensuring all work carried out is to UKAS standards and in line with HSG:264
- Building and maintain strong client relationships
- Assisting with any queries and provide technical support
