Interim Management Accountant

Four Squared Recruitment is looing for an Interim Management Accountant to join a Construction/Building Client.
Job overview:
- Review daily bank balances and ensure that month end reconciliations are completed
- Preparation of the weekly cash flow forecas
- Oversee the sales ledger to ensure that debt is recovered in a timely manner inline with the company's credit control procedure. Ensure all new customers are correctly vetted with credit insurance in place and that the credit limits existing customers are regularly reviewed
- Supervision of sales ledger & purchase ledger closedown at month end
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT return
- Preparation of all schedules for management accounts including accruals and prepayments
- Variance Analysis and explanation
- Preparation of management accounts for final review with manager
- Preparation of the cost of sales analysis including review of the sales order process and WIP to ensure that invoicing is up to date, payments on account are correctly treated and all relevant costs transfer to the cost of sale
- Responsibility for stock verification and valuation
- Assist in annual budgeting process
- Reporting on ONS Statistics
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for senior management
- Working with the team to improve automation of internal processes
