Position Overview

As a Tax Semi Senior, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of personal tax accounts. Your expertise will ensure accurate and timely preparation of accounts and tax returns, contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare company accounts, self-employed accounts, and rental accounts
  • Complete company tax returns (20%) and personal tax returns (80%)
  • Liaise with outsourcers to gather necessary information
  • Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely submissions
  • Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and letter
  • Engage with HMRC to resolve tax queries efficiently
  • Adapt to new software packages as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice
  • Proficiency in preparing accounts and tax returns
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
