Position Overview
As a Tax Semi Senior, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of personal tax accounts. Your expertise will ensure accurate and timely preparation of accounts and tax returns, contributing to the overall success of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare company accounts, self-employed accounts, and rental accounts
- Complete company tax returns (20%) and personal tax returns (80%)
- Liaise with outsourcers to gather necessary information
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely submissions
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and letter
- Engage with HMRC to resolve tax queries efficiently
- Adapt to new software packages as required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice
- Proficiency in preparing accounts and tax returns
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Commitment to pursuing ACCA qualification
