We are seeking a dedicated Stores Person to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to make a significant impact within our company. The successful candidate will liaise with different divisions across the company, process and pick orders, and organise the stores on a daily basis.
A forklift license is desirable but not essential, and the role will involve heavy lifting. Due to the rural location, the ability to drive is a must.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Liaising with various divisions within the company to ensure smooth operation of the stores.
- Processing and picking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Organising and maintaining the stores area on a daily basis.
- Operating a forklift to manage stock (if licensed).
- Engaging in heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Ensuring inventory is managed and stock levels are maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar stores or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Forklift license is desirable but training can be provided.
- Physical fitness to manage heavy lifting requirements.
- Must have a valid driving license due to the rural location of the workplace.
