SEND Teacher - Reigate

Engage Education is currently working with a lovely SEND school based in Reigate who are urgently seeking a caring and enthusiastic teacher for a long term role to start in September.
The school caters for students with mild learning difficulties and autism, It caters for students across primary a phase. Their aim is to provide an environment where every member of the school community is given the support and encouragement necessary to meet the demands of education and personal change and to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that includes the full range of National Curriculum subjects.
About the role:
The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:
- Autism
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties
- Mild Learning Difficulties.
This is a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year on a long term contract and there could be an option of a permanent offer.
The right SEND Teacher will have the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status, 6 months previous SEND experience
- Ability to adapt tasks to meet the needs of individual children
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Effective communication with members of internal staff, including SENCO
