We are working with a national business compliance company based in Hinckley, that offers expert advice on HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety to more than 14,000 businesses across the UK. They are a fun, lively and fast-paced business, currently looking for a HR Documentation Manager to manage a team of 20 employees - this is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading business and progress your career.

About the job:

This is a busy and fast-paced role, managing a team of around 20 individuals, ensuring that they are on track and hitting targets. You will be ensuring that the day-to-day functional operation of the team meets optimum productivity, quality standards and client service level timeframes.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Mentoring a team of HR Documentation Consultants to eunsure that they are providing commercially focused, quality advice and documentation to clients
  • Recognising gaps in knowledge for training and development purposes
  • Managing the team and ensuring all protocols and KPI's are met with no work outstanding
  • Taking appropriate action if KPI's are not met
  • Quality checking documentation to ensure compliance with employment law and reduce the risk of negligence claims
  • Liaising with clients to discuss their requirements and creating HR documentation or critiquing the clients own documentation to meet their needs
  • Dealing with complaints appropriately by making contact with the client resolving issues amicably
  • Managing a workload
  • Attending team and management meetings
  • Recording work completed using the internal systems and procedures
  • Building and maintaining a cohesive and motivated team, encouraging best practice at all times
  • Recruiting new team members when required
  • Staging daily meetings with the team
  • Carrying out 1-1's
  • Communicating management instructions to the team in a positive and constructive manner
  • Monitoring daily, weekly and monthly reports and handling any issues that may arise from them
  • Preparing a report weekly on issues, findings, suggestions and resolutions
  • Carrying out any other tasks deemed necessary

  • Thorough knowledge of HR practices and employment law
  • Previous experience managing a team and speaking to external clients

On Offer

  • Annual salary up to £40,000
  • Monday to Friday, 9 - 5.30
  • Career progression available
