Description

  • Conducting building surveys to assess the condition and construction of buildings.
  • Preparing detailed reports on building defects, design, and repair.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure the smooth running of projects.
  • Monitoring building regulations and safety standards in the construction industry.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Overseeing maintenance and repair work to guarantee it meets the set standards.
  • Providing advice on property legislation and regulations.
  • Estimating costs and schedules for project completion.

Profile

A successful Building Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Skills in project management and building inspection.
  • Excellent knowledge of building and construction processes.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
