As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be instrumental in driving our company's growth through business development, client engagement, candidate sourcing, and managing offer negotiations.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Develop new business opportunities through targeted cold calling, attending sales meetings, presentations, organisational visits, and networking events.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand their hiring needs and requirements.
  • Grow business by identifying potential opportunities and selling temporary/interim solutions within the existing client portfolio.
  • Source candidates through direct advertising, job boards, social media, and referrals.
  • Attract new candidates to register with the company through effective marketing activities.
  • Register and interview new candidates to assess their skills, experience, and career aspirations.
  • Perform background checks and referencing for candidates.
  • Match candidates to temporary/interim opportunities and fill existing temporary assignments.
  • Create engaging job postings to attract high-calibre talent.
  • Work with urgency to ensure that bookings are filled within agreed timescales.
  • Accurately record recruitment process data using internal databases.
  • Facilitate offer discussions and finalise candidate placements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or a related field with a focus on business growth and client relations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with a drive to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
