Software License Manager - Hatfield/ Hybrid £50,000 to £65,000
Viqu have partnered with an organization who pride themselves on being one of the best in the industry of leading technology and service providers. The business is looking to hire a Software License Manager due to the previous employee retiring. The company has a low employee turnover supported by their People Matter initiative and has won many awards of partner of the year with multiple of the vendors.
The Software License Manager will look after the customers and manage their licenses to ensure that the appropriate licenses are being use and advising ways to improve by monitoring experience, suggesting training and aiming for all customers to utilize their licenses.
The Software License Manager will benefit from hybrid working of 1 day in the Hatfield office per week and working at home for the remainder of the week.
Key requirements for the Software License Manager:
- Previous experience within a licensing management or similar role.
- Strong experience with Software License Management tools such as SNOW or ServiceNow.
- Technical background within the IT industry
- Exposure working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Valur Added Reseller (VAR)
Key responsibilities of the Software License Manager:
- Ensure the business's license management services are provided to the customers in a professional manner.
- Promote best practice to the customer and recommend support for ssoftware license management.
- Manage all aspects of the software license management best practice processes and tools such as reconciliation activities, entitlement management, software rationalisation and optimisation, and delivery of vendor audits.
- Gather and analysing client contract, renewals, entitlement and data for adding into licence management tool.
- Build and manage relationships with stakeholders across the business and clients.
