Responsibilities:
As a skilled Transport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring seamless transportation and on-time deliveries. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategically planning fleet routes to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Efficiently managing customer requests, job allocation, and providing necessary instructions.
- Staying updated on transport issues and adeptly managing changes in daily schedules.
- Effectively communicating fleet availability and addressing issues to the entire team.
- Collaborating with drivers and colleagues to guarantee punctual deliveries.
- Maintaining regular communication with customers, providing accurate ETA updates.
- Pre-briefing and debriefing drivers on their daily runs to optimize performance.
- Recording delivery status and addressing discrepancies in systems as needed.
- Swiftly troubleshooting critical transport-related issues as they arise.
