Position: Hire Controller

Location: Stockport.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm)

Salary: Depending on experience

Essential Skills:

?? Previous office experience required.

?? Strong telephone communication skills.

?? Proficient in Microsoft Office.

?? Excellent written communication skills.

?? Aptitude for learning new software, particularly Protean, utilised by our office.

?? Capable of performing effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced office environment.

?? Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a team.

The Role:

As a Hire Controller in our busy Rentals Office, you will play a crucial role in coordinating nationwide rentals of forklifts and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

?? Respond to rental enquiries, negotiate rates, and provide timely quotes.

?? Utilise the Protean system for efficient reporting.

?? Communicate with customers and suppliers via phone and email.

?? Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

?? Provide administrative support across various rental office functions.

?? Use software systems to generate orders and maintain contracts.

?? Manage incoming emails and phone calls.

?? Organise hires, deliveries, and collections, reporting any issues.

?? Verify contracts at month-end for accurate invoicing.

?? Execute weekly and daily tasks in line with rental enquiries.
