We are working with a reputable client based in Glasgow (G41) who require a professional Mechanical Estimator. The position is a permanent role paying up to £50k per annum + £6k Car Allowance + Benefits.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (8:30am - 4.45pm) Friday (8:30am - 4pm)
Due to the company being Flexible they are able to offer WFH 1 day a week. Start time or finish time can be changed if needed due to commitments outside of work, but of course the time will need to be made up either end.
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the branch for estimating within business & residential construction and commercial components. You will barter successful tenders via transport groups to permit and fulfil commercial goals.
Role Overview
- Ensuring all Tenders are complying to H&S and Environmental compliant
- Create Breakdowns and Net Estimates if required
- Review and access documents for tender
- Have the ability to build long lasting business relationships
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Full UK Driving Licence and access to own Vehicle
Estimating and Quantity Surveying
Excellent Negotiation Skills
