Service Care Solutions are currently working with a Residential Rehabilitation Service in East Yorkshire.
We are currently looking to recruit for a Worker with experience in regards to Substance Misuse and residential settings.
Role/ Team Over for the role -
The Service is a residential substance misuse treatment centre in East Yorkshire for men and women over the age of 18 years who have committed to remain abstinent from drugs and alcohol. The strategic mission of the treatment centre is to help residents achieve long-term recovery from drug & alcohol dependency, and full reintegration into the community through an intensive, primary structured 12-week 12 Step residential programme.
The aim of the role is to support clients with Substance misuse and resettlement options when entering treatment and when they are due to leave residential treatment to ensure recovery is maintained and they can successfully integrate back into their community.
Main duties of the role -
- Create Support plans with Services user for them while in Detox and plans for their options once they have left detox.
- Work closely with your colleagues you will discuss and share best practice to ensure a holistic service is delivered safely to our clients in line with service targets outlined by the Service Manager.
- Conduct regular client 121s to support need
- Setting clear objectives to support integration back into the community
- Ensuring education/training/volunteering opportunities are sourced for each client
- Sourcing appropriate move-on housing for each client at the successful completion for their treatment
Candidates must have previous experience either working for a Substance Misuse Service or in resettlement roles. Candidate applications without this experience can not be considered.
