The Telecoms Support Engineer Opportunity:
We're seeking a talented Telecoms Engineer to join our growing team and play a vital role in designing, installing, and maintaining our cutting-edge telecommunication systems. In this exciting role, you'll contribute to the success of our projects, ensuring exceptional service for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, install, test, and commission telecoms equipment, including fiber optic cables, routers, and switches.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal network performance.
+ Work collaboratively with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
+ Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
+ Stay up-to-date on the latest telecoms technologies and best practices through continuous learning.
+ Document technical procedures and configurations to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer.
About you:
+ Minimum 2 years of experience as a Telecoms Engineer or a related field.
+ Strong understanding of telecommunications principles, networking protocols, and equipment.
+ Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
+ A valid driver's licence (Manual Licence) and the ability to travel.
+ Working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the telecoms industry.
+ Familiarity with fiber optics, copper cabling, and network testing tools (a plus).
