Our client, who are in their 64th year of trading, are currently recruiting for a dedicated individual to join their small and friendly team based in Hempsted, Gloucester. This will be on an initial temporary basis with a potential to go permanent for the right person.
Generating majority of their business through word-of-mouth referrals, they pride themselves on the services they can offer! In this role you will work closely alongside the Office Manager and Director providing administrative support as required.
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and email enquiries
- Acting as the primary point of contact for both customers and suppliers
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure stock availability, delivery times and dates can be met
- Raising purchase orders
- Updating the business systems with contract data
- Maintaining timesheets and site attendance records
Candidate Attributes:
- Friendly, calm and professional attitude
- Be reliable, motivated and organised
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Full driving licence essential
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: £12 per hour + free onsite parking
