Senior Performance Reporting Analyst

Posted by Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited.

Your new company
Our client is an international, world-leading company that is growing in its sector.

Your new role
The company is looking for a driven and insightful Senior Performance Reporting Analyst to join the Group Planning & Analysis team, which is a small team supporting a growing global manufacturing business. The team is responsible for the forecasts, budgets and five-year plan of the Group, alongside indirect business partnering, providing insights to the shareholders, senior management and the wider business to assist in decision-making. You will have regular exposure to the executive team, senior management and the wider business, along with interaction with the Group Finance team to assist with their analysis.

You will take ownership over preparing the performance reporting analysis, summarise key performance drivers and present insights in regular Exec and shareholder reviews, as well as provide performance insights and financial analysis for Board slide preparation, and present in pre-board briefings. You will co-ordinate, design and deliver the annual budget process, working with the Performance Reporting Analyst and finance business partners to consolidate inputs and model the P&L, working capital and cash flow. This role will also provide key insights to the Exec and senior leaders, including group scenario planning where appropriate.

You will business partner with indirect functions, embedding yourself into the business and providing cost analysis and insights, alongside capital planning, to help aid business decisions and drive a focus on key areas of performance and support growth objectives. You will initiate and drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, working alongside other team members to simplify and automate planning activities.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience working in an FP&A / Performance Reporting team, ideally in a growing organisation. You will have experience of senior stakeholder management with the ability to influence outcomes and have strong presentation skills. Experience interpreting and providing insights into financial data is required, as well as a clear understanding of financial results and how they interact. You will be a strong communicator, effective across different geographies and levels, both within finance and the wider business, and have strong analytic skills with attention to detail.

This role would suit a highly motivated, intellectually curious individual who is willing to critically challenge ideas and processes.

What you'll get in return
This is an excellent opportunity to join an international and growing business that offers future career enhancement.
