This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance and Cleaning Operative to join one of the world leading leisure and manufacturing brands. They are looking for a Maintenance and Cleaning Operative to take care of their facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks (Floor buffing)
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Carrying out maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include painting, repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
- Minor plumbing and carpentry
- Clearing or cleaning general areas
- Shifting furniture or equipment
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff and provide assistance to co-workers when needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Performs additional duties as needed.
- Adhere to company policies
- Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities
Requirements and skills
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Proven maintenance experience.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Own car and driving license
- Strong organisational and follow up skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Strong time management skills.
