This is a great opportunity for an experienced household housekeeper with a sound understanding of looking after high-profile homes to join a beautiful family in their lovely house in Central London. It is a live-out full-time position to cover a one year maternity contract. There is potential to stay permanently after the contract
40 hours a week working 5 days a week with 2 days off (some weekend availability). Typically working 9-5, can involve working earlier or later as required. Flexibility is a must.
Responsibilities
- Managing household and housekeeping inquiries
- Thorough cleaning of the properties
- Vacuuming and cleaning of floors, carpets and rugs
- Dusting and polishing of all surfaces
- Laundry and ironing, organising dry cleaning
- Schedule all linen changes
- Care of fine china, silver and crystal
- Maintain an adequate supply of household cleaning products
- Run errands for the client
- Receive and supervise contractors
- Household shopping online and shops
- Occasional cooking
- Assist with table service at dinner parties
- Liaising with contractors, managing organisational matters
