ESP Utilities, a leading provider of essential utility services across the UK, is seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join their team in Leatherhead, Surrey. Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Financial Control team (5 reports).
  • Lead the production of consolidated management accounts & reporting for all Group companies to meet internal deadlines.
  • Manage & develop Business Central accounting system, to ensure Financial Control team are maximising functionality.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise and ensure the Group financial control environment is robust.
  • Assist GFC with preparation of statutory accounts & management of annual audit cycle.
  • Assist GFC liaising with external tax consultants & HMRC compliance
  • External reporting to Ofgem, Ofwat, credit rating agency and ONS.
  • Provide support to GFC as required.

What They're Looking For:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, practice trained.
  • At least 2/3 years PQE experience.
  • Technically strong (IT, excel & financial accounting).
  • Self- starter able to problem solve and apply initiative.
  • Able to manage multiple work streams concurrently.
  • Confident communicator, used to interacting at all levels within the business.

What They Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £70,000 per annum with bonus.
  • Hybrid working (2-3 days pw in office).
  • Holidays: 25 days, going up to 26 after 3 years and up to 27 after 5 years of employment. The company gives you the opportunity to buy/sell up to 3 days per year.
