We are looking for an Accounts Receivable assistant to join an expanding Company in Southwest London. Based in beautiful office , close to tube and rail , 10 minutes from Clapham Junction

Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant with a background in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We're recruiting for a friendly, collaborative finance team based in Southwest London. As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager and helping to manage the day-to-day financial operations of a multi-entity business. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update cashflow forecasts and provide insightful analysis to senior team members
  • Process intercompany billing and raise sales invoices across multiple entities
  • Ensure timely issuance of deposit invoices and accurate entry into financial systems
  • Post and reconcile bank payments in various currencies
  • Take ownership of credit control, proactively managing customer accounts to minimise aged debt
  • Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger, including updating customer account details
  • Process payments, refunds, and contract postings accurately and efficiently
  • Liaise directly with clients to resolve billing issues and answer account queries
  • Provide financial reports and support internal audits
  • Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as directed by the CFO or senior leadership Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Highly organised with good time management
  • Team player with a proactive approach

Desirable:

  • Experience in an accounts receivable or all-round finance role
  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (especially NetSuite)
  • Previous work within a fast-paced, multi-entity business environment
