Senior Account Manager - Networking & Telecoms - Guildford/Hybrid - to £50K + £40K OTE

We are currently working with an award-winning, privately-owned value-added reseller & systems integrator who have been established for over 35 years. They work with the top industry vendors to deliver smart technology solutions around contact centres, unified communications, networking, AI, automation, and systems integration.

As a result of continued growth, we are looking for a proactive Senior Account / Business Development Manager with experience selling Network Solutions; (LAN, WAN, SDWAN, Security, Firewalls etc) and a history of securing new clients, generating sales, achieving targets and managing customer accounts.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Win new business, acquire new customers, and develop revenue opportunities for their Networking Portfolio (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet etc).
  • Client Management: Develop and manage relationships with customers you win, planning engagement and communications.
  • Technical Expertise: Chair technical workshop meetings, manage significant projects, and oversee change initiatives.
  • Sustainability & Growth: Identify and execute sustainability and growth initiatives for accounts.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address issues, solve problems, and escalate when necessary.
  • Achieve Target: Work towards £400KGP Target.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience selling Network Solutions to new & existing clients.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, decision-making & negotiation skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and accountable
  • Ability to lead virtual teams and multi-task
  • Analytical with strong time management skills
  • Customer-centric, proactive, assertive, and confident
